I need to use antibiotic agar which, say, contains 20ul each of streptomycin, gentamycin and tetracycline.
So instead of adding three type of stock during preparation..
I prepare 1ml aliquots containing 20mg/ml of each antibiotic in water/ethanol/mixture and store it at -21*C.
Is there any problem with that?
I tried it with Tet, Kan, Cam, and Car. Some dissolve in water, others in ethanol. I prepared a stock that had all four. So far no problems. But I don't prepare a lot and use them within 2 weeks (keep at -20C).

I guess if there are no immediate destructive interactions during preparation (as shown with your experience), then it should fine at -20C a little longer too.
I usually keep my stock for around 2 months.
Forgot to say that I prepare the ethanol and the water soluble ones separately then pool and freez. I don't dissolve the water soluble in ethanol. Let us know if 2 months is ok.
