Just by knowing the viscosity of biolubricants is it possible to judge the performance with respect to friction and wear characteristics. (Does lubricant with higher viscosity gives better friction and wear stability)?

Is it necessary to study friction and wear characteristics of Biolubricants using pin on disc tribometer, even after knowing all the rheological properties.?
