Is it justifiable to prioritize economic development over environmental protection and what is more important equal rights or environmental protection why?
For what concerns the first question, it is not justifiable. Our environment is the nucleus of our lives, if it gets worse, as a result even the economic development will be negatively affected. People must understand that these two things are coordinated and that if our environment is protected, even economic development will proceed with positive effects. It is not right in my opinion, distinguish the two fields. The other question is totally different. You are making reference to two completely different fields. Of course, equal rights should be the step that would made our world better. Equal treatment for everyone is a subject that have been discussed for many years and some countries made huge progresses, but as we know, there are still people in the globe that are suffering the inequality of their rights. There's no answer for what is better among equal right and environmental protection
Prioritizing economic development over environmental conservation creates a complex ethical dilemma. Economic development is essential for the growth and progress of society, but it often comes at a cost to the environment. Protecting the environment is more important than economic development because of its negative impact on the environment and human health. However, sustainable economic development is possible if it does not negatively impact the environment. Environmental protection itself contributes to economic growth. Sustainable development requires balancing economic growth with environmental protection. While economic growth is essential for improving living standards, it must be pursued in a manner that minimizes negative environmental impacts. Economic prosperity can also strengthen people's willingness to forgo a part of their income to achieve a cleaner environment. No one solely maximizes their economic prosperity, and as people achieve a higher standard of living, they can prioritize the environment without sacrificing basic needs.
