I am pretty sure you can, I did it about 10 years ago in two different ways (through R, seacarb package and CO2SYS an excel based software; you can download both for free) trying to assess ocean acidification impact on a coastal system. Since I am not sure if or what you are searching apart from DIC, check a bit the options/prameters for these two ways of calculation. However, you need to provide at least one additional data [I am adding you here what CO2SYS website says "Any two CO2 system parameters (TA, TCO2, fCO2 or pCO2, and pH) may be chosen as the inputs from which the other two parameters will be calculated."]. If you have additional data such as nutrients, these would help two especially if you study extreme environments (e.g. anoxic). PS. there were also other packages for such calculations, which I am sure you could find if you search. I just chose to work with these two. Also keep in mind that if you make the calculations with two separate packages your results might differ a while. Good luck!
