You should not think in that way. I tried for more than 15 years to publish my papers in Taxon but all of them were returned to me with some improvements and with a request to publish them in local Indian journals. Ultimately I got my paper published in Taxon. I had absolute confidence in my mind after submitting the manuscript of that paper. I told to myself no reviewer in the world can reject my manuscript!
So please have absolute confidence with the quality of your work first. BEST OF LUCK!
I would not call it bias. If your paper is outstanding, it will definitely get a positive feedback, but its eventual publication might be based on the aims and scope of the journal, and the number of high quality papers at hand. You cannot dissociate politics from any organization. Your perceived clout in the field, previous publications, and the overall benefit of your contribution to the journal might further influence the decision of dropping some papers in favour of others.
Sometime we feel are being hunted but in the real sense we are be trained to take over. I agree with Dr Subir Bandyopadhyay. I don't believe there is justification to that.
yes, most of the time, say 90% asian papers are rejected by European, american and other journals indicating comments that English is poorly written, and not highlighting the content and science behind the research and work component presented. I think its bios....
