I am working on a project in which I have applied Taguchi's DOE. So, I have concluded my optimum results from the array. Now is it mandatory to add the S/N ratio in the project?
S/N ratio will give you a hint of how robust is your optimum result. A high S/N ratio means your signal that is your controllable factors is so robust that the noise or uncontrollable variations would unlikely to cause the result to change during the mass production after experimental stage,.

S/N ratio helps to understand what are the optimum values. and if you are writing an article or a report its necessary to add the S/N values.
