I have a scenario where a control group has all its members scoring zero in a test. Other test group members have a value for the variable which happens to be a continuous variable. Is it appropriate to do a t test or ANOVA depending on number of groups for such data and include that group or it is simply not statistically correct? What are the statistical options and references if any?
