With increased population, the need is to produce more food. The answer is adoption of intensive agriculture. If this happens in soils poor in organic carbon, synptoms of soil nutrients deficiency, limited surface / ground waters signs, emerging soil elated constraints, reduced factor productivity, agri-productivity declines etc. The debate comes whether we should over-burden our soils for intensive agriculture?

definitely there are options for resource conservation technologies for sustained production, are these options answers to intensive agriculture?
