Is dc-dc converter required in a BLDC fed solar water pumping system which has a VFD and MPPT in the pump controller?

Iam trying to do a performance Comparison of various MPPT algorithms and different DC/DC coverters in BLDC fed solar water pumping system.any suggestions? The pump controller would consist of VFD and MPPT. I am planning to work on removal of harmonics as well. The model will be designed via simulink. The pump used is centrifugal pump. Is this novel? Also any ideas or modifications are welcome.

Also do we have any new techniques like Sine-wave Pump Controller with MPPT (SPCM) which i can use instead of a VFD.
