I don't think so except if you want to look for the effet of blood sampling per se as a stressfull event (ie if you look for behavior befor and after sampling group). Otherwise blood sampling is mostly done to compare groups with another intervention (treatment....) or group defined with different inclusion criteria (eg disease affected or not).
It may depend upon the location of the study. Some countries do not consider it an intervention while others do. In India it is considered as an intervention as the experimental ethical guidelines of the country.
