Hi! I have worked with phenolic acids, ferulic and salicylic acids to study their antimicrobial action against bacterial biofilms, and found that the continuous exposure of dual-species biofilms to this phenolic acids decreased their resilience and resistance to inactivation and removal.
Dear Margi Shelat, I have used several chemicals to induce the systemic acquired resistance in plants against different fungal pathogens. I used Salicylic Acid and pottasium di-phosfate and BION to icrease the resistance in tomato plants against Alternaria diseases, Also I used BION to induce systemic resistance in chickpea against Ascochyta blight disease. All these materials were good and reduce the sevirity of the tow diseases sibnificantly.
