I have extracted antioxidants from plants and performed antioxidants assay by colorimetric method... i want to know equations for the calculation of enzyme activity...
If you used 2, 2 diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) as your control, then I suggest this equation for determination of the antioxidant activity of your extract:
AA% = (Absorbance of control –Absorbance of sample)/ Absorbance of control x 100
