This is high time to do sequencing of the 40 Indian Medicinal plants for knowing their real worth in drug development domain. As many Rasayana plants have lately been declared inactive by researchers. I know that NGS will bring back the status/reputation of these Distinguished Ayurveda Plants as well as many new medicinal properties can be predicted using Bioinformatics

We are doing research in herbals, especially, quality standardisation, identification, isolation and characterisation of therapeutic natural products and its efficacy. we have plan to work some of the rasayana plants on new approaches for its therapeutic potential.
