As an acting teacher, I am working in the relationship between image, emotion, impulse, and language. I have created a training module towards that end. I am not a scientists, so perhaps my experience is not what you are seeking. However, I am attempting to bridge the divide between what acting teachers know and what scientists discover. I am currently working on a book around this topic.
The 2007 book 'Embodiment in Cognition and Culture" is composed of a series of essays that bridges the gap between natural sciences and the study of culture, all under the umbrella of embodiment.
