This study aims to evaluate the measurement properties of the M-CHAT and CARS and to assess levels of autism symptoms present across different age, gender, diagnostic groups and different world regions. This is a psychometric study in which already available data will be combined and analyzed. No such or similar study has been ever organized before and its results, we hope, will advance our knowledge in autism paving the road to future actions!

I have an online free course for parents of children with autism on how to implement sensory enrichment as a home based therapy, and work in over 60 countries of which many are developing. We are soon travelling to Haiti to train parents directly about autism and home based protocols. I have a large data system gathering parents observations over the past five to twelve years. I am a licensed Intervention Specialist with a focus in ASD and have been involved in research on ASD for the past decade. We have been working in Salta (northwest Argentina, very close and sharing cultural characteristics with Bolivia) a local adaptation of the M-CHAT-R / F to a Spanish used here and to Wichí (one of our approximately twelve indigenous languages). We are very interested in the possibility of participating in your project. I am a researcher at the National University of Salta in ICSOH-CONICET-UNSA and CISEN-UNSa. Yes, for me, I have done research on cultural representations of parents with autistic children and their relationship to choice of treatment. The study was a comparison between France and Algeria, but we were not able to obtain the data from the sample of French society.
