Is there any research or articles that discuss the differences between hospital design patterns (deep plan vs shallow plan) and the impact of each one of them on infection transmission?
Interesting Alia......I did research on hospital ward design and preference for privacy from patients point of view but nothing about infection...... I used James, W.P. and Tatton-Brown (1986) classification of hospital ward types which might be useful as well in your case.
