Looking for studies that have assessed an implementation framework or strategy for the uptake/adoption of an intervention in multiple settings.
One resource that may be helpful to review is a special issue of the American Journal of Community Psychology (Volume 50, Issue 3-4) that focused on use of the Interactive System Framework (ISF) to support dissemination and implementation of evidence-based programs in community settings. The papers in the special issue include a mix of conceptual and mixed-methods evaluation studies in which the ISF was used to support a range of programmatic dissemination and implementation efforts. The paper by Chinman and colleagues in that issue includes analysis of program performance and capacity comparing those using a particular dissemination support model to sites in which that model was not utilized. Similarly, the paper by Saldana and Chamberlain compares sites randomized to a specific support framework.
