I used the very same antibody, and I struggle as well with the protocol. I used a demasques protocol with sodium citrate. I was using the antibody on mouse emrbyos, so maybe for your tissue may be different, but for me it did work at the end.

So the solution is 10mM sodium citrate pH6:

Put your slides into the solution and boil for 10 minutes (top up if it’s evaporate). Leave cool down for 30 minutes (can do it on ice it’s faster) and add water. after that process you start the immunostains. It did work for me. Let me know if you need further information.
