Is anyone aware of a formula to estimate heat transfer between a pipe and a flat plate?

The pipe is carrying hot fluid in such away that the pipes outer surface temperature remains constant . There is a gap between the pipe and the plate.

You need to describe your problem more clearly. E.g., how are the pipe and plate arranged? Is the plate served as a fin on the tube? Parallelly below the tube? Within the tube? etc. I cannot imagine why one specify a constant temperature on the outer surface of a tube in a CFD simulation if the plate is outside the tube.
