We use this method quite a bit. I even teach it in my Computational Electromagnetics course.

If you jump straight into the MoL lecture, you will probably not follow it. You will have to look at previous lectures. I recommend the following order:
Lecture 2 -- Maxwell's Equations
Lecture 3 -- Preliminary Topics in CEM
Lecture 4 -- Transfer Matrix Method
Lecture 5 -- TMM Using Scattering Matrices
Lecture 9 -- Perfectly Matched Layer
Lecture 10 -- Finite Difference Method
Lecture 11 -- Maxwell's Equations on a Yee Grid
Lecture 12 -- Finite-Difference Analysis of Waveguides
Thank you for the reply. Yes, i would go through them. Can I contact you for any queries on the same as I am a beginner in this field, but I am quite interested on this topic.
Sir, my requirement is to model SIW using anyone of computational methods in electromagnetics. Can you please suggest which technique i need to focus on. I have seen papers using different methods like MOM, MOL,FDFD, BI-RMEetc.
