For example, are environmental perceptions associated with the brain important or how much important? Is it an idea to think the weather is hot? Or, the produced senses by the sense organs or, feelings, etc.

are these variations of ideas?
A toothache is not an idea, though it is obviously in my brain somehow.
Is a memory an idea?
Is a dream an idea?
The concept of an idea seems to involve analysis of something external to ourselves.
