In the large area placed by crushed and uncrushed aggregate in the same foundation. I ask for Is aggregate types affect the differential settlement of the foundation or what?
Looking from a rock geology perspective. rock with fine grains usually shows high strength than coarse-grain rock due to the close binding between the grains.
Having a mixed (heterogeneous) grain assist in modifying the failure sequence of the foundation under load.

If the Crushed aggregates are well graded then these will be produce less settlement, Uncrushed aggregates will be having more voids hence result in more settlement.
Differential Settlement may produce due to non uniform compaction of the fill material.
of course yes , You have to consider the porosity between the cogs, which are the main factors, you have to consider whether it is dense or not. But in general, the types of aggregates will certainly be different due to their porosity.
