Is it possible for the micro-segregation (non-equilibrium phases) coarsen during the homogenization treatment? There is an obvious reduction in the quantity, but some of the phases remained and coarsened. Longer homogenization treatment does not remove the phases completely but it further coarsened. Does it mean solubility limit in the matrix? I used the homogenization treatment slight above the incipient melting temperature.

Dear Dr Ramamoorthy,
"Micro-segregation" usually means a chemical nonuniformity of alloying elements resulting from solute redistribution processes during solidification. It may or may not lead to the formation of secondary phases (equilibrium/nonequilibrium).
When you apply a homogenization treatment to such a system, the phases for which the homogenization temperatures crosses the solvus temperature will dissolve in the matrix (the so called secondary alloy phases). For the others (typically called primary phases) the solvus temperature is considerably higher than the homogenization temperature and these phases will not be expected to dissolve in the matrix. rather they may end up in a coarsened state provided there is enough elements present in the matrix that constitute the phase.
