Is it possible to use other Sn compound like SnI2, SnCl2 or SnCl4 as reference compound for 119Sn NMR, since I dont have tetramethyltin right now and I need NMR spectrum urgently.
Perhaps the attached list of 119Sn chemical shifts will help you to find an alternative external reference compound. Also, I believe that SnCl4 (neat) is ca. -150 ppm.
Professor Anthony Foris, I have a doubt, If we record the 119Sn of a sample in the solid state as well as also in the solution state, will the signal for these two be different or same?
