I am a student who is currently studying the muon and muonium behaviour in the biomolecules using Gaussian 09 software. Does any body have knowledge about how to insert Muon and Muonium in a particular coordinate of a biomolecule . I am not sure How to assign the mass and charge of Muon and Muonium in the gaussian input file and insert the muon and muonium in a particular position of a molecule.
I'm curious about the purpose of your project on muon- and muonium-containing biomolecules. Since muons have a half-life of about 2 microseconds, any molecule containing a muonium "atom" (in place of a hydrogen atom, I assume), would very rapidly experience the disintegration of the muonium.
I am learning about electron transfer pathways in biomolecule. Thanks for reply. Would love if you could help me in this gaussian file
