dear researchers,
i have performed crashworthiness performance analysis of aluminium AA6061-0 alloy tubes subjeceted to static and impact loading. im getting difference of 30% when static and impact energy absorbed are compared. but many authors reported the abovesaid material is strain-rate insensitive. then what are the other reasons for this increase. please share your views. also plz explain the difference between inertia effect and strain rate effect in crashworthiness
