Experimental research give you a feeling of some kind of accomplishment. Eventually you will have a feeling that really you have physically done something good.

Both of them. Each one serve certain discipline and may be combined.

Both are important. usually their combined result (where required) provide a good output of research work

Both, analytical research followed by experimental shall achieve perfect results, though it is highly dependent on the research arenas.

I think experimental is better than numerical research

From my experience in numerical research it's difficult to published because it's necessary the validation of numerical results. However for the experimental it's more easy to publish the results of it's new.

Both have specific features and unique applications depending on what you are working on
