Some journals do not accept review papers because they consider that the theoretical framework is the basis of a research, and not the research itself. Other magazines already accept and encourage this type of publication. what do you think about?
Yes they are too important and should be published by all scientific journals.
In the current context Sage, Taylor and Francis etc are also accepting the publication of Reviews. They also contribute towards the development of research.
I agree that review articles are important for the reasons outlined above. However, the real benefit comes from the discussion section where future work and knowledge gaps are presented.
I think review articles are very essential in disseminating info on topics and aspects considered trending/relevant to current issues. I also think it is unethical not to publish them. I have done a review myself and I think the effort paid in compiling published work, reading and understanding a review is equally as much as a research paper based on empirical evidence
I fully agree with you! Review articles are as important as traditional research papers. I am a review enthusiast and I always advise students in this area as well.
Of course. They are very useful for other researchers. A bibliographic review allows to know the state of the art in any field. In addition, the author's particular point of view, his hermeneutical analysis may represent a disruptive change in science in the field of study.
I believe that systematic review articles are valuable and should be published as long as their argumentation makes explicit the progress of a research topic or program, generating an important map of the gaps that must be filled or lead to a leap towards new applications or new research.
Viníciu Fagundes Bárbara Yes I agree that the systemic review is very important to the researcher as very truly said by Ilya Casanova apart of this the review paper can clarify the state of knowledge, explain apparent contradictions, identify needed research.
Yes. Review articles have value because someone already took the time to look at what has been done, what remains to be done, what the unanswered questions are, and so on. Review articles that are most recent would be the most helpful especially in the rapidly changing scientific fields.

In Colombia, there are three types of research articles that are published in high quality journals: articles based on empirical research, state of the art articles and topic review articles. The last two types of articles are based on bibliographic reviews. Consequently, the answer to Viniciu´s question is yes they are important to be published in journals.
Reviews are mainly important doing faster the first approach to new topics. However, it is true that some journals more and more discourage their publication, unless they raise critical points of view proposing new avenues of development in the topic.
I think, Yes they should accept review papers, because it will reflect on the quality of the research and the knowledge in general. It is a value added.
I think, no. because bibliographic review articles consider only overview, there is no theoretical framework research, thus, it should not be published by scientific journals.
