Short follicular phase following ovarian stimulation with corifollitropin alfa is reported by previous studies as a less frequent, but common event, without impact in reproductive outcomes. However, in my point of view, clinicians seem to be extremely cautious when dominant follicles reach 17 mm diameter without any additional FSH dose after corifollitropin alfa. What do you think? What do you see in your center?
In our center, about 30% of the women don't need additional FSH when using corifollitropin alfa. We don't have any extra concern about those cases.

In our centre we also find 70-80% need additional FSH and as these patients tend to be in the older reproductive group i.e. 35 and over we often choose Menopur with the additional LH as some of our patients appear over suppressed by the Antagonists. Those not requiring additional FSH do not appear to have their outcomes compromised.
