Is IVDW allowed to be used for version 5.2 of VASP or can it only be used for version 5.3?
I am asking since I am using version 5.2. I tried setting IVDW=1, but when I check the OUTCAR by typing "grep vdW OUTCAR" nothing appears. However, when I type LVDW=1

Yes, from the manual IVDW and LVDW is both supported by VASP5.2.11. However, if I use IVDW tag and grep the "Estimated vdW energy" in the OUTCAR file, nothing appears. However, if use the LVDW tag, I am able to find this line in OUTCAR. If the vdW energy does not appear in OUTCAR, my assumption is that the vdW corrections was not applied in the calculation. Therefore, only LVDW and not IVDW tag is supported in the version I am using. But I am not sure if this assumption is right.
