there are two uv plots of same system in two solvents: Ethanol - water
in plots you find (A) with a lanthanide complex and (B) is an organophosphorus pesticide)
when adding A with B the resulted spectra as shown, is this can be interprated as forming a binding between A and B?????

I want to say that the problem that I made fluorescence studies on the quenching of A(Tb3+ spectra) by the (B, analyte) at Excitation 305nm, and made all my studies including stern-volmer (quenching type) and thermodynamic parameters, now I made the UV, a reviewer now claiming that it is an inner filter effect as B absorb at the excitation and claimed that stern-volmer or binding studies are not relevant!!! please help

From the three spectra, it is not obvious if there interaction between the two analytes. However, deconvolution of A-B spectrum may help you to conform your hypothesis.
