In my knowledge, introduction part is very important in conceptual or critical review paper but in empirical, discussion part is slightly difficult as we have all other materials in your hand.

Once you start writing everything should be rather easy... the difficult part is carrying out the research!!

The problem section

The introduction is very vital because it gives a broad view of the research. It takes more time than any part.@tunjisiyanbola

I think that the most difficult parts are no. 5 and 6 sections, the analyses and the discussions

“Introduction” is the hardest part.

You must write from the inside to outside. Then reorganize each section to make a coherent “story”. The introduction is the last section to be written.

It depends but basically "Introduction" is the hardest part without any confusion. But must have to consider the "construct" mapping prior to the theory building part. Where the introduction part reflects the "concept" "construct" and RG (from Theory).

Finally, though the introduction is first and foremost part but, my close observation is that this part should write after drafting all the parts.

Writing references according to the journal style. Rest everything is interesting from title till conclusion.

I am not so sure to agree with the (rather common) opinion that the introduction is the hardest part to write. In the end, it must contain the motivation, the main ideas and the objectives of the study which should be quite clear from the very beginning. I tend to think that the hardest part is that of the presentation of the results (because it is often difficult to choose what to present and how to do so) and, even more, the discusion, because you have to place your work in its correct place among the literature.

Unlikely I quite disagree to think the presentation of results and discussion writing is tough.

Simply, while we start a discussion on a specific issue either in writing or oral first we need a topic and it starts with motivation, ideas, objectives (introduction). Where arguments in favour or against the results of our talking or writing state in the result and discussion part. So, if motivation, ideas and objective can be defined clearly discussion come automatically.

Again, if I find the meaning of research. There I will get the previous theories, results and discussions and so on. And in this case, the boundary of writing these two parts are quite tiny incomparable to the introduction.

Finally, I must say, writing a research paper all of the parts are significantly correlated where writing each separate parts are as simple as hard.

I'd say literature review. The reason been that, without adequate and robust literature review, a researcher can not identify gap in literature, avoid plagiarism, write a good introduction, see methods used.

My view is in line with Professor Ofuan James Ilaboya, that in carrying out a research work, literature review should be the first thing to be done.

As per my opinion the most difficult part is introduction and discussion of results because both are based on the context and author should a string grip on the contextual issue to build a rationale for study and link it with findings.

Theoretical foundations including the organization of the contents of the paper into sections and sub-sections; are the difficult part in writing a paper.

These are the questions to be answered under the significance of the study: What are the benefits of conducting the study? Who are the beneficiaries of the study? How do they benefit from the study?

Problem statement should answer questions on: What is(are) the problem(s) of your dependent variable(s)?, how have your independent variable(s) helped in solving the problem(s)? Why do the problem(s)persist? How do previous studies tackle the problem? What do they leave unsolved? Do their approach matter? How do you want to contribute to the subject and then shift the frontiers of knowledge?

literature and introduction part are a little bit difficult, because it needs paraphrasing of the previous works in relation to your study

issues sorrounding the problem of the study viz a viz gaps identified is a function of an indepth literature review.

Theoretical Foundation is the hardest part, especially if you are not from a social science background.

Write inferences about analysis of Data is most difficult part in write articles.
