All the time more, library personnel must work across functions to meet the fast-evolving needs of users. One main area of synergy—in the face of on-going changes in technology, digitization, and information consumption—is the relationship between data and web specialists. Particularly in special libraries, what might be some benefits of enhanced collaboration across these two functions? What tasks, skill sets, and resources might they share? What governance, architecture, and management might help them organize and present information more efficiently and effectively for better outputs and outcomes?
