It seems very strange, in general each variable parameter (did you varied them?) present a standard deviation. In the output file you can find the varied parameters with the pertinent errors.
What do you mean the detector was flooding? Do you mean it was saturated, or went into a non-linear regime? Was it a point or area detector? If you did saturate the detector then there is not point in doing a refinement since your integrated intensities will not fit correctly. If you want just the lattice parameters you are best off to just take the center of each peak and fit the unit cell dimensions. If the peak is saturated or in a non-linear regime you will have errors in the peak centers, however these will be less then if you try to do a full pattern fit. If you were using a point detector you may be able to do a dead time correction. Next time attenuate the beam to stay well within the linear range of the detector.
