In pool boiling, what is reason that trapezoidal fin shape performance not much studied in pool boiling heat transfer ?

Mostly research papers focus on rectangular or cylindrical fin. But on comparing them with trapezoidal fins, trapezoidal fins have more surface area. Very less papers available for trapezoidal fins in pool boiling heat transfer.

Hi,

generally, the fins are increasing the boiling rate due to increase the surface area of the heat transfer. I agree, it is a good research topic.
