That is very good. When all representatives from different parties add the voice of environmental policies, it shows that all are concerned and driving towards a better environment and environmental protection.
In any representative democracy, whatever policies or legislature are being discussed in parliament is left at the wits of the representatives' opinions that are expressed during discussion. If they really speak the mind of the party they represent then well and good. If, on the other hand, they speak something from the top of their own heads, then it comes back to the question of the party they represent, whether they agree with what their rep speaks or not.
So for the question of the Netherlands, I would say that as long as the party representatives voiced what their parties accept and agree upon, it should be okay. Otherwise, there can be repercussions for speaking just their own voices.
