I am trying to design an UWB antenna. But, I am confused about selecting solution type and solution frequency. My structure has multiple resonant frequency. I am getting different S11 response for selecting solution type: single frequency and selecting broadband. I am also confused about selecting sweep type.
Would you please suggest which combination of selecting solution type/frequency/sweep type will give me the accurate S11 result if I want to fabricate it after simulation?

would advice you to read the help files and the tutorials associated with the software. This is one thing, the other thing why do you solve for broad band element it may be logical to use UWB solution type. As for sweep it may be related to the number of frequencies selected for the solution that is the frequency descretization . To locate the resonance frequencies with high accuracy you may slow the speed of the frequency scanning.
This may be some logical answer to your question in addition to the previous answers of the colleagues.

Firstly, regards the solution type, if you are working with UWB you should use broadband adaptive solution because discrete one will make the meshing and check the convergence at only one frequency then use this meshing for all the points which will not provide accurate results. Multi-freq is good if you have specific resonances so you can make the meshing only on them.
Secondly, for sweep type, as a general, forget about fast because it is less accurate from them. Then if you are working with UWB you can use interpolating but better to enhance its accuracy as the attached picture, this sweep solves at some frequencies and then interpolate the other so it will provide faster solution, the only problem is you have some narrow resonance inside the band it may cannot detect them, so if this is your case use the most accurate one which is discrete (but it is the most time-consuming also).
Usually, you can use interpolating while you are optimizing the structure then use discrete for the final design before manufacturing.

Kerlos Atia Abdalmalak would you please inform why did you uncheck the port impedance in Interpolating Sweep Advanced options? I can see by default it is checked in my HFSS.

By default the port impedance is not checked (you can check this if you start a new project), anyway, the important thing to check the S parameter because it is the critical parameter for convergence, if you want to check it in addition to S parameter, it will not be any problem.
Interpolating sweep initially to check resonances, then you may go for discrete sweep in order to check the parameters at resonant points
Hi, in uwb antenna design using broaband solution type is better. After designing,rechecking of resonances by discrete solution type is recommended.

The solution type will be broadband and sweep Fast. Actually i follow this process and almost match the result.
