It is highly required of every teachers of this century to develop skills that boost their confidence in teaching, designing instruction methods and styles. A successful teacher however develop diverse skills in meeting a setup goal. Facilitating knowledge require ultimate and diverse experience on subject matter, teacher must be ready to grow deep multi dimensional skill in pedagogy, technological application, literacy and management skill. This will prone a teacher to face more challenging roles, be ahead of his audience and always ready to attempt questions.

In my opinion, for an excellent teaching, a teacher needs both technology, emotions and basics, as well as knowledge of how students learn, and has a different teaching method for each subject.

In my idea, to get effective teachers and high competence, it is necessary to train teachers with technology-based instruments

At present there are lot of things and areas that we have to prioritize when it comes to education. One of these is to ensure that teachers are equipped with all the necessary 21 century skills that teachers must possess. We must continue to expose the teachers at different trainings where they can enhance their teaching-learning skills to be more effective and efficient in all aspects. We must always pit in mind that as a teacher we must continue to seek for new thing that we could offer to our learners.

Vivimos en un mundo globalizado, donde el docente debe estar tan informado y formado más que el alumno. Eso nos lleva, en mi modesta opinión, a que el docente debe estar formado en las competencias que luego ha de transmitir. Por ello a tu pregunta respondo afirmativamente que si. Si el docente no está formado y actualizado no podrá transmitir ni inducir al alumno las competencias y técnicas que lo lleven a obtener el éxito deseado y esperado.

A las competencias y técnicas docentes se debe agregar, la actualización constante, conocimiento de las TICS, Además de tener habilidades comunicativas y socioemisionales, para impartir una educación exitosa. De no ser así, el alumno rebasará al maestro con las tecnologías con la que cuenta y sus habilidades que descubre él mismo hoy en día.

In my opinion, the first thing teachers need to understand is that students are people! As such, they learn differently; they respond to feedback differently; they are motivated differently. Some want to take over the classroom so that the whole class is a tug-of-war between student and teacher. Some are too shy to raise their hand and ask even a burning question, so they proceed by asking another student, guessing, making something up, or just never knowing. If the teacher is teaching material that doesn't need to be known by the student, then why teach it??? I have been teaching everyone from little kids to graduate students for over 30 years. The first thing I do is acquaint students with themselves and with each other. I use an instrument that costs money, and I pay for it because it is so important that (1) students know themselves, (2) students know each other, (3) students know ME, and (4) I know the students. I can promise you that if you do not find a way and take the time to do this in every class you teach, you are losing at least 50% of the learning that you are trying to teach. It is worth every minute it takes!
