In cloud which area is very much in demand to research on like security, threats, access control etc and few others that i even don't know?

Perhaps 1 of the areas including developing algorithm how to distribute workload between edge computing vs cloud computing in IoT-Analytics / Big Data Analytics environment. Also how to deploy security protection end-to-end from IoT sensors / actuators, gateways, edge to cloud at DCs.

privacy may be a good subjet to research recently.

All aspects are very important in the study of clouds and it's various applications, but I would vote for more attention on its security. This is because the reliability of it's usage for every application centers on the security. Moreover, it is clear that data management is key and are unfortunately subject of cyber-attacks ......and with varied dimensions of intents of attackers,it is definitely crucial to research more in this area.
