I have experimentally examined these three types of fabric. I found that the unidirectional fiberglass laminates have a higher strength and modulus compared to two others. Additionally, both the strength and modulus of woven roving composite laminates are remarkably greater than laminates made from chopped strand mat.
General rule, continuous fiber better than chopped fiber, oriented fiber better than randomly distributed fiber, thus UD is also better than woven as woven distribute the orientation into two directions. These properties can be predicted by a micromechanics code such as SwiftComp, which can be freely launched in the cloud at https://cdmhub.org/resources/scstandard
