In my humble view, texts are in fact examples of socially organized speeches and that the process of reproduction is socially restricted. Society in turn is like carrying a heavy box, which is handled and labled in different forms and colours.
I am not sure what YOU mean by ”reproduction“ here. But isn’t the study that describes/ explains, analyses and interprets by itself a realization and end result of the reproductive stage?
