For example, if there is an equation (3) exhibiting fuzzy data, and we use a function say R to covert fuzzy information to crisp information in equation (4), is it mathematically correct? though I have seen many papers that follow this process but someone told me it is mathematically incorrect, is it so? if it is, then what is the right procedure?.

It's impossible to say if the process is correct or not because you are converting information in knowledge base to crisp input values. It is correct if you say so lol
