Specifically looking for information on below aspects:
1. Nature of the messaging which Rabbit MQ is being used for?
2. Behavior of a possible DR replication solution in the context of how Rabbit MQ is actually being used, for example whether queues are just being used as a transport (and any messages are purely transitory), or if the queues will accumulate over time.
A search of Rabbit MQ and Amazon Web Services reveals a number of descriptions of Rabbit MQ in the cloud and how to install and even what to do for DR. Also, OpenStack, the open source cloud management framework, has Rabbit MQ as one of its options for messaging. I have included some links below.

In one of our projects we used RabbitMQ as a middleware to launch CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) jobs using messages both for sending commands on a queue and for retrieving feedbacks on the simulation progress on another queue (see link below to download the complete paper).
