Step 1: get a general understanding of the topic before you start reviewing

step 2: collect research articles, books or thesis from data bases. it can be PubMed, google scholar etc fro articles and university data base for thesis and books

step 3: screen your papers which has a direct importance for your review

step 4. read them and put a frame work of your paper before start writing

step 5: start writing your reflections on the papers even separately

step 6: bring your reflections together until they make sense and have a good flow for the readers

step 7; allow your review to be reviewed by an external body before sending for publication to make sure that your scientific language is to the standard

This my little experience and you will get more tips from senior fellows
