I am trying to find a good immunocompetent mouse model to study triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). The 4T1-BALB/c model is perhaps not ideal for studies on immunosuppression and as 4T1 is derived from BALB/c mice, it cannot be transplanted in the C57BL/6 strain. Can someone suggest a good animal model to study TNBC-induced immunosuppression?

Thanks. But do you know of any other orthotopically implanted TNBC cell lines that can be injected to produce an immunocompetent mouse model?
Suhnrita, I have a question for you, as I work with the 4T1-BALB/c model. Why do you say that is not ideal for studies on immunosuppression?

For regular cell implantation model, use D2A1 cells in Balb/c mice, immune suppression should not be a problem.
