Have no idea about the books, but there is a self-evident explanation. Nano-sized objects (usually it means - less than 100 nm) can be visualized only with advanced microscopy (electron, scanning probe, etc.), obviously, such equipment is pretty expensive and needs high-skilled operators. Theoretically, a rich museum can buy a piece of such equipment and hire a proper operator, but there is a fundamental limitation: a probe or electron beam will destroy the object pretty soon, usually - in a few scans. That is all. We can exhibit only microphotographs, not nano artworks.
