IL-18 is a vital but complex player in the immune system, particularly against viral threats. While it doesn't directly identify viral antigens, it orchestrates and amplifies the downstream immune response to eliminate virus-infected cells effectively. It has been shown to be involved in multiple inflammatory cascades activation along with directly aggravating diseases.

Thanks for your comment. We are testing the immune response to COVID-19 antigens. I got elevated OD for IL-18 compared with the rest factors. That is why I want to connect what I got.
