Heathcliff is a character that is complex yet very humane, as he was torn between the two extremes, of love of his non biological father and hatred and cruelty of his foster brother, and his love for Catherine made him almost mad to extent that revenge was his only aim from those who mistreated and abused him. But, revenge could not calm his soul as the more his acts of revenge grew, the more his suffering reached the heights of agony.
My favorite part of novel " Heathcliff begins to act strangely and has visions of Catherine. He stops eating and, after four days, is found dead in Catherine's old room. He is buried next to Catherine."
