South African Universities were outstanding with 8 featuring Universities among the best ten Universities in Africa(Best 200 Universities Ranking). My University was established in 2012 and am presently working on designing a standard institutional based Strategic plan for the institution. I hereby need collaborators from South African Universities who can give me important information and items that they have been committed to in order to have achieved such giant strides in the African Universities ranking. My topmost surprised were the two South African Universities which were established in 2004 and 2005 featuring among the best ten Universities in Africa while other Universities established as long as 1977 has no where to be found in the hall of superiority. PLEASE KINDLY HELP ME IN THIS GREAT MISSION OF DESIGNING A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR MY INSTITUTION.

Go electronic as far as possible, as soon as possible (E-education). Once established, it reduces the number of tasks, and stress level of the lecturer. It helps students and admin and improves quality through enforced deadlines, transparency and traceability. However, it does require conversion of staff from the chalk and talk era, and supporting and maintaining them.
It does of course require a commitment for teaching staff to learn to research and improve the curriculum continuously. You need to graduate at least one postgraduate for every two graduates.
