A wastewater treatment plant is adding dual polymer do reduce TSS, as per their permit they must do tox tests for this. How often and which tests should be done?
Main concern of flocculants in emulsion is shelf life. So first thing to check is how homogenous is the flocculant in the IBC/drums. You can check at 1/3, half and 2/3 of the shelf life. If you find 2 phases, a quick fix could be using a mobile mixer directly onto the IBC. Shake well before using the IBC and be sure that the flocculant is again in 1 single phase. The supplier of the flocculant should help you in this and/or other strategies.
